UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA) is looking for committed professional and expert to review the training material that has been designed, complement it based on previous training experience, and finally create relevant multimedia training material. The consultant will be engaged for 10 days within a period of one month.

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

Purpose of Activity/Assignment:
Complement the work currently being done by APSE and PMDA on the creation of training material for Participatory
Action Research and Evaluation (PARE) training for young people. The consultant will review the training material that
has been designed, complement it based on previous training experience, and finally create relevant multimedia training
material.
Currently, the training material is composed of one session on general research methods, one session on best practices
on literature review, and five sessions on participatory research methods (interview, focus group, survey, ethnography,
and social cartography). As it is detailed later, each session is expected to last two hours, ergo the training material
produced out of this consultancy is estimated for a 14-hour training.
Scope of Work:
The required work has three steps:
1. Review the current material suggesting at least two more learning activities for each of the six-training sessions
(literature review, interview, focus group, survey, ethnography, and social cartography).
2. Design a user-friendly manual that synthesises the training content and material into a product that can be
delivered to training participants.
3. Design PowerPoint slides that complement the training material (approximately 14 hours). Slides needed to
match two hours per session.
