The Department of English at Carnegie Mellon is seeking an instructor for an established course and invites applications from qualified individuals. We seek a candidate with experience working in diverse undergraduate communities with a commitment to adaptive and inclusive teaching strategies. We are especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. The position will be part-time, non-tenure-track, and may be renewable based on availability and performance, including proven quality of instruction.

Candidates should have practical experience with advanced degrees. Teaching experience is preferred.
