The English department is seeking applicants for a part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor position at the Athens campus for the Fall 2023 semester and the 2023-2024 academic year. The instructor will teach first-year and/or advanced composition or another writing or literature course as assigned.

English Department: The Department of English has 29 full-time faculty across the main campus and seven regional campuses and centers in Southern and Central Ohio. Minimum QualificationsMA in English, or minimally a Masters degree and a cohesive set of 18 semester credit hours of discipline relevant graduate course work.

Preferred QualificationsExperience with teaching of writing.

Previous experience teaching English courses at Ohio University.
