Job Overview:
The Integrated English and Training (IET) Instructor is responsible for providing integrated job readiness and technical instruction for non-native English-speaking adults enrolled into the program. The Integrated English and Training (IET) class is a cohort model for two certificate programs in the Allied Health Field; Dental Assistant and Pharmacy Technicians. The instructor must be able to successfully develop and tailor curriculum and materials to the needs of students enrolled into the program including the support of student recruitment, registration, attendance tracking, retention, progress and assessment.
This is a part-time non-exempt 18.75 hour per week position, reporting to the Adult Education Instructional Supervisor. Classes will be held on Saturdays or evenings, depending on the cohort’s availability.
Major Responsibilities:
o Plan and prepare curricula and lesson plans for English language learners to understand the technical content.
o Plan and prepare curricula and lesson plans for English language learners to understand the job market and how to successfully apply for jobs, complete interviews, and follow the norms of the American workplace.
o Tune lesson activities to meet student needs across a range of English proficiency levels, from intermediate to advanced levels of speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing.
o Document student progress with goal setting and conference notes and assist in recruitment and retention activities.

Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
