GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Performs professional systems administration, enhancement, maintenance, design and implementation of integrations of Driscoll Health System’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with other Enterprise Applications within the organization. Works closely with ERP Vendor Support, analysts, developers, Epic, network, and security teams to implement inbound and outbound ERP integrations. Evaluates existing components or systems to determine on best practices to build, configure and test integrations, and other technical requirements and to ensure final solutions meets the system-wide needs. May help in coordinating vendor activities or participate in demos and testing vendor provided software to evaluate for possible use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Positions in this class may perform any or all of the below listed duties. These should be interpreted as examples of the work and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
Serves as subject matter expert (SME) and primary point of contact for technical, administrative, security and integration needs.
Gathers data and information on processing steps/workflows. Clarifies requirements by observing and interviewing other SMEs, end users and other involved staff, then translates into solutions, file transformations and/or integrations to support those needs.
Maintain master data values, configurations, and reports in the ERP and/or connected systems.
Works project tasks, requests, tickets, configures, tests, validates and implements changes in the ERP and/or connected systems. Designs, implements and maintains integrations to new or existing development in the ERP and/or connected applications or modules. Serves as an escalation resource and provides tier 2 and higher technical support.
SME for current and upcoming technical capabilities. Reads technical journals, conducts research and evaluates releases and functionality to identify opportunities and provide valuable input to improve and optimize use of the ERP and/or connected systems.
Confers with other SMEs and vendors to provide consultation building domain knowledge, reducing gaps, providing solutions and impact analyses.
Prepares test data and scenarios, coordinates and assists system testing related to new or existing development, and for new product code releases. Maintains logs and ensures fixes and proper Information Systems change management are in place prior to implementation. Assists in other testing and annual events monitoring integrations and security.
Provide input and knowledge sharing with manager, leads, SMEs, team members, and clients as appropriate.
Participates in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen. Reads technical journals and attends seminars and workshops to improve knowledge base.
Writes and maintains quick help sheets, workflow diagrams, and detailed technical documentation for integrations, reports, business processes, and configurations for the ERP and/or connected systems.
Participates in the design and configuration management for production, test, backup, recovery, migration and archive systems and procedures.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE – Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. Related experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred.
Skills in technical troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving is essential. Strong analytic skills including the ability to quickly identify root causes of issues to determine best solution or determine if other teams need to be included in resolving issues. Experience and skill with web services such as XML, XSLT Transformation, WSDL, SOAP API, REST API, and EDI are required. Strong knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS and SFTP, and automatic File Transfer applications. Other scripting languages as Powershell, Python, JSON or Perl is a plus. Familiarization of systems administration processes, audit activities, application security and privacy standards desired. Familiarization with data extraction and report writing is also strongly recommended.
This position will be required to obtain one or more ERP certification tracks within one year of employment.
Associate degree and/or applicable technical certification(s), and/or two (2) to six (6) years of relevant technical experience.
