• Serve as Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Action Officer, Army HUMINT Operations Center (AHOC), G2X, US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Fort Belvoir, VA
• Provide HUMINT subject matter expertise based on previous HUMINT operational and HUMINT oversight experience.
• Assess HUMINT operational compliance with applicable HUMINT policies, doctrine, and best practices.
• Create written communications to senior HUMINT and Army leadership concerning complex HUMINT operations and programs.

RequirementsConditions of Employment

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a T5 (or equivalent) investigation.
• Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
• Must be a graduate from one of the advanced HUMINT training courses as identified in AR 381-100, such as the Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course (DATC), the Advanced Source Operations Course (ASOC) or a DOD-recognized and accredited equivalent course.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12).Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or insider threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, intelligence cycle and intelligence/counterintelligence organizations; Knowledge of and ability to use data mining tools to track and produce statistical products and assessments; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
