How you’ll make a difference:
- Assist in creating and developing innovative design concepts, solutions while working collaboratively with a team during concept design, space planning, schematic design and design development
- Generate, ideate, and design in all phases under supervision
- Produce pre-design, design and technical drawings on all phases of a project under supervision
- Participate in the technical development of projects during construction documents with the guidance of Project Architects and Senior Technologists.
- Take ownership on project tasks and use critical and creative thinking to solve design and technical problems.
- Maintain clear communication and coordination within internal team members and team leaders
- Support the development of the architectural in-house design production expertise and methodologies
- Participate in project pin-ups and design reviews
- Attend or participate in client and user facing meetings
Who you are:
- Between 3-6 years architectural production/design experience
- Intern Architect (or eligible)
- Professional Degree in Architecture (does not need to be Canadian School)
- Experience using Revit
- Proficiency in 3D modeling parametric modeling and visualization using Rhino, Grasshopper and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) an asset
- Strong visual and graphic communication skills
- Team oriented and committed collaborator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
- Interested in working in (but not limited to) sectors including Healthcare, Institutional, Science and Technology
