How you’ll make a difference:

  • Assist in creating and developing innovative design concepts, solutions while working collaboratively with a team during concept design, space planning, schematic design and design development
  • Generate, ideate, and design in all phases under supervision
  • Produce pre-design, design and technical drawings on all phases of a project under supervision
  • Participate in the technical development of projects during construction documents with the guidance of Project Architects and Senior Technologists.
  • Take ownership on project tasks and use critical and creative thinking to solve design and technical problems.
  • Maintain clear communication and coordination within internal team members and team leaders
  • Support the development of the architectural in-house design production expertise and methodologies
  • Participate in project pin-ups and design reviews
  • Attend or participate in client and user facing meetings

Who you are:

  • Between 3-6 years architectural production/design experience
  • Intern Architect (or eligible)
  • Professional Degree in Architecture (does not need to be Canadian School)
  • Experience using Revit
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling parametric modeling and visualization using Rhino, Grasshopper and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) an asset
  • Strong visual and graphic communication skills
  • Team oriented and committed collaborator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
  • Interested in working in (but not limited to) sectors including Healthcare, Institutional, Science and Technology
