Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a IS Business Process Analyst (Legal) for a 18 month + Contract. Our clients Legal Operations group supports a Global user-base, and flexibility to meet with users outside of the standard shift hours may be required either on occasion or regularly, as the project requires.Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)This role will be on the Legal Operations Team and will report to the Director of Legal Technology and Innovation.

  • Analyze legal processes and identify inefficiencies and improvement areas by developing Business Process Maps and other methods.
  • Support project planning and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Conduct requirements-gathering interviews and other User research.
  • Develop User Personas and Stories to support the design and development of new business processes and technology solutions.
  • Develop requirements documentation and document acceptance criteria.
  • Create test scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing of technology projects.
  • Create and maintain documentation for business processes, system configurations and administration, and Job Aids.
  • Provide training and support on new systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis.
  • Excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize work to support aggressive delivery schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as oral written and communication skills, with the ability to interact with non-technical and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively and collaboratively on cross-functional, global projects.
  • Understanding of Project Life Cycle stages and processes.
  • Skilled in MS Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience working on projects related to custom business applications, SaaS business solutions, and/or application development teams.
  • Experience with Legal Operations and/or legal technology tools like contract management systems and e-billing platforms.
  • Experience facilitating productive meetings with external stakeholders
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies, including Agile.
  • Experience using work tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Ability to act in a business-to-technical translation role and create visualizations to simply explain complex concepts.
