Dedicated to the details, our expertise ensures a perfect career opportunity match for each of our candidates and a seamless experience for our customer.AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE PLANNERFunction: Constructs Bids, Develops Plans & Schedules.The Aircraft Maintenance Planner reviews customer requirements, constructs bid estimates and develops theworkflow plans and production schedules in coordination with Operations.Essential Job FunctionsPlan and schedule maintenance work packages based on the availability of labor, tooling, materials, andequipment to ensure minimum aircraft down time and a balanced workload.Plan and originate requisitions for materials required for scheduled maintenance.Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely arrival and location of parts required to accomplishmaintenance.Make changes to the scheduled workflow in response to deferred maintenance items andrepair/correction of items which affect the airworthiness or operational availability of aircraft.Plan maintenance workloads and prepare work packages for Operations and assist in making decisionsregarding requests for changes by setting priorities for planned maintenance.Review the work plan with the respective project managers/supervisors/leading and maintaincommunications on the assigned planned maintenance.Support the Director of Sales Support and Programs with other business activities as needed.To always lead by example, through professional behavior, integrity, commitment to the company andcompliance with its policies.Ensure the highest quality service, safety standards and performance, with the objective of exceedingcustomer satisfaction in the re-delivery of airworthy, reliable, and clean aircraft, in a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and Reports to the Director of Planning.Critical partnerships include:o Project Managerso Quality Controlo Quality Assuranceo Planning and Production Controlo Materials Managemento Purchasingo Engineeringo Financeo Customer RepresentativesQualificationsCandidates must have experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning or Maintenance Programs at a Part 145Repair Station, Part 1221/135 Airline, or Aircraft Equipment Manufacturer OEM.High School Diploma/GED.FAA mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings Desired.Undergraduate degree.Maintenance planning experience on current fleet types being maintained or modified by the RepairStation.Maintenance planning experience in a VVIP / Business aircraft completions environment.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other AttributesStrong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff fromdifferent departments effectively.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize workload according to business demandsand works well under pressure.Working ConditionsThe work is performed in an office environment, aircraft hangar, at the departure gate or on the aircraft parkingramp.Physical Activity/RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.
