Main Responsibilities: To work with Teachers and Teaching Assistants as part of a professional team to support teaching and learning for an identified pupil(s). To provide high quality support to targeted groups of pupils to ensure outstanding progress. The primary focus will be to work under the professional direction of the class teacher and within an agreed system of supervision in delivering lessons set by or with a teacher to the identified pupil or groups of pupils.

Personal Qualities

Qualifications

Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or above

GCSE in English and Maths to Grade C or above (or equivalent)

Sound understanding of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum
