L Cornelissen & Son Member of Specialist Retail Sales Team

We are looking for someone to work full – time (5 days per week) in our long-established shop selling specialist fine art materials.

This position would suit someone with experience and interest in the use and sale of artists’ materials, with particular emphasis on painting, pigments, drawing, printmaking, calligraphy and gilding.

In addition, the role includes a substantial administrative dimension through the making of orders with suppliers and the management of Cornelissen’s relationships with a selected supplier group.

The position involves a thorough immersion into the mechanics of the business and in its presentations. There will be opportunities to develop a career over time and to broaden the work experience, either with Cornelissen or with another company within our group.

Previous retail experience preferred.

Salary starting at £26,000.
