Job Description:

Lab School Teaching Associate 3

75% Teach 5 of 7 classes daily on content area instruction in Secondary Physical Education. One class period daily of class/curriculum planning One class period daily of team/department meetings, duty, and/or other supervision duties

15% Attend Development meeting monthly as determined by the Administration.

10% All other duties as assigned by the Secondary Principal and/or Director. This would include, but not limited to covering additional classes on as needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field; Must complete Master’s degree within three years of hire date; Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification in Louisiana. In addition to minimum qualifications, completion of a master’s degree within three (3) years of official start date is required. Failure to comply may result in termination.

Minimum certifications / licenses: Louisiana Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification in Louisiana)

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field; Three years of classroom experience

Preferred certifications / licenses: Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification in Louisiana)
