POSITION SUMMARY:

IREX seeks a Labor Migration and Anti-Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Consultant based worldwide (remote). The selected Consultant will be responsible for developing a series of written, public products capturing IREX’s approach to safer labor migration and trafficking in persons prevention programs.

Preferred candidates will have experience developing safe migration/anti-trafficking program strategies, activities, technical proposals, external communications products, or any combination thereof. No travel is required for this consultancy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with IREX program staff to articulate IREX’s approach to safe migration and anti-trafficking, including cross-cutting themes and alignment with IREX strategy;
• Based on discussions with IREX program staff, collaboratively develop a 2-4 page written summary of IREX’s approach to safe migration and anti-trafficking programming, including recommendations for graphics or other design elements;
• Provide inputs on potential opportunities for new areas of work, key geographies, and stakeholders for future engagement;
• Additional written products or deliverables upon request and mutual agreement with Consultant.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Demonstrated experience in the field of labor migration, Trafficking in Persons (TIP), or related issues;
• At least five years of relevant professional experience, with 8 or more years preferred;
• Demonstrated experience in program design, strategy development, or proposal writing; external communications experience preferred;
• Excellent written communication skills in English required.
