Southside Smiles, located in Gympie’s growing Southside suburb near the Woolworths complex, offers a friendly, family-centered environment for patients of all ages. Originally a child-focused clinic, we now provide a full range of services including general dentistry, teeth whitening, dentures, crowns, and root canals.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Clinician with experience in full-scope dentistry. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, delivering a high standard of patient care, and offering mentorship to emerging dental professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in patient care and clinical outcomes and be passionate about guiding and inspiring the next generation of dentists.

Our small, supportive team fosters a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, with opportunities to grow a patient base in a fast-expanding area. With close ties to the experienced clinicians at Channon Lawrence Dental, you’ll always have support available. Our clinic is equipped with advanced imaging technology and RHS chairs, recently expanded to 4 chairs plus a state-of-the-art E3endo Aurum Blue endodontic setup.

Job Description

• Provide high-quality dental care to patients.
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.
• Perform routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, and other dental procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
• Collaborate with a team of dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with patients and team members
• 3-5 + years post graduate clinical experience preferred
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work within Australia
