About the role

The post holder will be responsible to act as module lead for the Software Engineering module (COMP0010, see https://www.ucl.ac.uk/module-catalogue/modules/software-engineering-COMP0010 ) and contribute to one or more other modules as required.

Additionally, they may be asked to teach lectures and tutorials for postgraduate and undergraduate students across other related modules in collaboration with other tutors as well as contribute to administration activities within the Department of Computer Science, as agreed with the line manager.

About you

A PhD in Computer Science or closely related discipline, or comparable working experience is required.

The post holder is expected to have a strong knowledge of the subject area (i.e. Software Engineering), combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programmes.

The post holder must have a proven record of teaching and assessing students’ work. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English are required.
