Seeking Full-Time Legal Assistants for On-Site Role in Rocklin, CADo you correct grammar and punctuation without meaning to? Do you naturally make people feel welcome when they are around you? - The Legal Assistant will be responsible for data management as a primary duty.
- The Legal Assistant’s key responsibility is managing scheduling, which includes setting hearing dates, arranging client meetings, and handling phone calls.
- Serving as the main point of contact for clients is an essential role that the Legal Assistant will undertake.
- Sorting, dating, and properly routing incoming and outgoing correspondence is a crucial task assigned to the Legal Assistant.
- Proofreading and formatting various legal documents will be a significant responsibility for the Legal Assistant.
- Greeting clients and facilitating in-office meetings with attorneys is an important aspect of the Legal Assistant’s role in Rocklin, CA, US.
- The Legal Assistant should be ready to take on any additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of legal terminology.
- Experience as a Notary Public is preferred for this position.
- Previous work experience in an estate planning and estate administration firm would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Clio software is desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm is required.
- Proficiency in various technologies such as Word, case management systems, document management tools, legal research platforms, and e-filing is essential.
