Looking for Full-Time Legal Assistants for On-Site PositionWe are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to become a part of our team. • E-filing court documents is a key task for the Legal Assistant.
• The Legal Assistant is responsible for managing scheduling, including hearing dates, client meetings, and phone calls.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients is a crucial duty of the Legal Assistant.
• Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, sorting, dating, and routing them appropriately.
• Proofreading and formatting various legal documents is a key task for the Legal Assistant.
• Welcoming clients to in-office meetings with attorneys is an important part of the Legal Assistant’s role.
• The Legal Assistant should be prepared to take on any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of legal terminology.
• Notary Public (preferred).
• Experience in estate planning and estate administration firm (preferred).
• Knowledge/familiarity with Clio.
• 3 years experience as a legal secretary in a law firm.
• Comfortable with technology including Word, case management, document management, legal research platforms, e-filing, etc.
