Position: Senior Accountant for Senior Living

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Full-time, 1.0 FTE

Location: Hybrid, would have regular travel to St. Louis Park office

Wage starting at $90,000 annually, depending on experience

The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and understand/predict contractual performance. The Sr. Helathcare Data Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the business including executive leadership, finance, operations leadership, and operations staff to deliver data and analytical assets.

Position Functions and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand what they are trying to measure/accomplish and convert into requirements/business rules
• Develop and deliver data and analytics assets that support business stakeholder strategic objectives
• Collect, clean, and preprocess healthcare information from various sources, including clinical data (i.e. electronic health records), claims and enrollment data, CMS data, and other public/private datasets
• Perform exploratory analysis of healthcare data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Utilize statistical methods to analyze and interpret data, including patient outcomes, operational efficiency, treatment efficacy, financial performance, and disease prevalence
• Deliver useable, reliable, and robust regular and ad-hoc reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for different business stakeholders
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Health Informatics, Mathematics or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred
• 3+ years experience in healthcare analytics, including data collection, interpretation, and visualization/reporting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy standards
