Job Summary

The Touring Production Manager / Sound Operator will oversee the technical and logistical needs of Lil.Miss.Lady on tour, managing production elements and acting as the primary sound operator.

Job Description

We are looking for an individual skilled in production management and sound operation, who can adapt to varying venues while upholding the show’s high production standards for HighRise Entertainment’s upcoming production, Lil.Miss.Lady, written and directed by Dominic Garfield with music by Lady Lykez.

HighRise is a Global majority led multi-disciplined company made up of people from marginalised identities that are under-represented in theatre. As such, we are looking for a Touring Production Manager that represents our company ethos.

The touring schedule begins with rehearsals (13.01.25 – 07.02.25) and ends with the final leg (07.07.25-20.07.25). Rehearsals, tech, and some performances are based in London, with the tour visiting venues in Gloucester, Birmingham, and Manchester.

Fee: £3,446 (rate of pay based on being above ITC minimum, a weekly salary over 5.5 weeks at £630 a week)

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in touring production management within theatre or live performance contexts.
  • Sound operation proficiency, skilled in operating soundboards, conducting live mixes, and handling sound checks.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage logistics for touring productions.
  • Familiarity with health and safety requirements in live performance settings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to varying technical setups in different venues.
  • Clean UK driving licence and willingness to drive production vehicles if needed.
