Anjali Dance Company is looking for a male-identifying performer and an understudy to join the cast of our new outdoor production, 49 Trees, for development and touring from 2027.
We are looking for a confident and expressive mover with strong partnering skills, who enjoys collaborative working and connecting with both performers and audiences.
The role requires stamina and adaptability for outdoor touring and a genuine commitment to working inclusively alongside an artist with learning disabilities as an equal creative and performing partner.
A rehearsal day is typically 7-8 hours (with breaks) and performance days vary depending on the booking. All pay rates are inline or above ITC rates.
You will need:
An Enhanced DBS for Adult and Child Workforce.
Performances often take place in family, community and public
settings, including where children, young people and vulnerable
adults may be present. If you don’t already have one, Anjali can
arrange this with you.
To be registered as self-employed as this role is freelance
and you will need to be able to invoice Anjali for the agreed
work.
To hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance in place for the
duration of the engagement.
