Manager, Client Experience (HEALTHCARE)

Weber Shandwick is currently seeking a Manager to join our growing healthcare team in Toronto.

We’re looking for a team player with 3-5 years of agency or related experience, ideally with a background in healthcare communications. The person in this role will support the success of a variety of healthcare clients, including pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, patient advocacy organizations and other life science or healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Help develop and execute innovative and award-winning integrated PR campaigns for major Canadian and global healthcare brands
  • Contribute to account team implementation of client programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget and quality standards
  • Build client relationships, confidence and trust (at executional level)
  • Work with cross-functional team to leverage traditional media as well as influencers and digital/emerging technologies for PR programming
  • Assist in developing a range of external and media materials including press releases, key message documents, pitches, social media content, etc.
  • Support event and activation logistics in a variety of settings
  • Develop and track meaningful KPIs to measure success of campaigns
  • Assist in financial management for clients, including development of invoices, budget reconciliation and activity reports
