Job Description
Plan and execute high quality menus and marketing + communication programs for Aramark’s healthcare business segment (acute and senior living), in order to contribute to the overall value proposition of the organization.
Collect and interpret primary and secondary insights and best practice standards and guidelines to inform the menu and marketing development process.
Provide ongoing support to the Aramark healthcare operators around menu, marketing, and communication tools, recipe and ingredient information.
Work synergistically with the Culinary Innovation Centre, Growth, and Growth Enablement and Business Process (GEBP) teams, and Healthcare (acute and senior living) Operations as well as other functional groups within the organization to meet corporate objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Using Computrition and RDS menu management systems, create collaborative and evidenced-based healthcare menus incorporating insights and best practices into menu planning with consideration given to culinary innovation, cost, nutrition, and complexity of the recipes. (40%)
- Work collaboratively with the Manager, Healthcare Systems to do scheduled maintenance and updates on the corporate menu planning software and create menu support materials (ie. menu package) with timely communication / training for the field. (30%)
- Support the communication of the Aramark Senior Living brand value proposition, including B2B marketing support for the Growth and GEBP teams. This includes support for sales lead generation involving tools such as development of social media and webpage content, client or prospect presentations, support with tradeshows, or B2B campaigns. (15%)
- Support development of marketing and communications material to support operations with articulating Healthcare (acute and senior living) value propositions and product / service programs (ie. freshflex, Resident Experience Kits, Better Together Newsletter) (15%).
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian
- A minimum 3 years of experience working in or supporting healthcare and/or senior living foodservice operations
- Ability to work as part of a multi-functional team
- Training and expertise in project management
- Presentation and communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media tools and web page design for periodic updates/enhancements
- Knowledgeable and competent with computer technology, databases, and menu management software.
- Results-oriented
- Membership in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Membership in good standing with the Dietitians of Canada
