Manager of Corporate Giving

The Dallas Symphony Association is seeking an experienced Manager of Corporate Giving. The Manager of Corporate Giving will work closely with the Director of Annual Giving to support the DSO’s corporate giving programs. This role will cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of existing corporate donors, valuing approximately $1 million, as well as prospect for new and increased support. The Manager of Corporate Giving will also be responsible for managing, tracking, implementation, and delivery of corporate partner benefits. The Manager of Corporate Giving will proactively anticipate and respond to opportunities to help the Director of Annual Giving achieve stated goals. Attendance at meetings, DSO concerts, fundraising and networking events and other activities is an integral part of this role. The position will also participate in maintaining impeccable accuracy and consistency of information, documentation and communication. The work of the Manager of Corporate Giving will contribute to increased corporate partner engagement and contributions, as well as the success of the Development Department and the institution as a whole. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in corporate giving or a related field. This position requires someone who is a team player and is able to work with the needs of multiple constituencies in order to meet deadlines and business objectives while prioritizing among tasks. The position requires impeccable accuracy and consistency in documentation and communication, as well as high attention to detail and superb organization skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. Attendance at meetings, DSO concerts, fundraising and networking events and other activities is an integral part of this role, so availability for occasional nights and weekends is required.
