Project Brief
The initiative aims to enhance knowledge dissemination and communication strategies for trade and supply chain finance. It focuses on promoting sustainability, digital standards, anti-money laundering measures, gender inclusion, and development impact through strategic marketing, digital content, and event support.
Key Activities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a 12-month communications and marketing plan.
- Content Development: Create and distribute digital and print materials, including reports, press releases, and social media content.
- Event Marketing & Support: Design marketing collateral for global, regional, and country-level events, and coordinate logistics.
- Multimedia Production: Develop videos, animations, infographics, and podcasts for knowledge dissemination.
- Social Media & Engagement: Strengthen outreach strategies, with a focus on LinkedIn.
- Project Management & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, prepare reports, and ensure timely content delivery.
Scope of Work
The Marketing Communication Manager is expected to deliver the following activities in support of the team:
- Strategic Marketing Planning and Execution focusing digital mass media channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter;
- Enable targeted Knowledge management channels such as webinars, seminars and regional country level workshops targeting businesses such as MSMEs, Large corporations, and financial sector actors such as banks and lending institutions.
- Off-line marketing enabler by devising strategies and implementation plans facilitated through channels such as Events, Trade shows, and financial conferences.
- Development and ownership of the activity calendar for all the integrated marketing and communication activities through off-line and on-line media.
- Well versed in providing direction on content authoring for communication and outreach within the B2B networking channels.
- Responsible for working on PR strategies and execution through seeding and sourcing relevant media partners in the Asian region, with prior experience on multi-country campaigns.
- Ensure regular reviews and curating on content for PR, and publications through coordination with sr. editor.
- Take strategic direction on finalizing content buckets and categories (audience specific messaging)
- Enable personalized communication campaigns through newsletters – mass mailers.
- Also responsible for development of event briefs focusing on regional events that are potentially can be attended that are relevant for project positioning to allow awareness.
- Oversee all the marketing efforts within the project domain and work with the communication director to come up with new products / channels for communication dissemination that amplifies reach and impact on the project.
Qualifications/ Requirements
Education/Training: Marketing, Business, Communication, and relevant degree
Language: English
Professional experience:
- 8+ years Core experience in On-line and Off-line marketing channels within the Trade and Finance sector focusing on B2B awareness campaigns.
- Proven expertise in strategic marketing planning and execution across digital platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter), knowledge dissemination through webinars and regional workshops, and event-based outreach via trade shows and financial conferences.
- Skilled in managing integrated marketing calendars, guiding content strategy, leading PR efforts across multi-country campaigns, and curating targeted communication for MSMEs, large corporations, and financial institutions.
- Strong background in developing newsletters, event briefs, and innovative communication channels to enhance project visibility and impact.
Preferred Criteria:
- Worked in the development development sector and in the Asia region.
