You’ll manage our website, social media, email marketing and digital campaigns, helping to grow audiences and raise the profile of one of the North West’s leading artist-led studio organisations. We’re looking for someone with experience in digital marketing, excellent copywriting skills, and an interest in contemporary visual arts. Experience with website management, Mailchimp and social media is essential.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director, Studio Manager and Programme Manager to support the delivery and promotion of Paradise Works’ programme and organisational objectives. The role also involves regular collaboration with Paradise Works studio artists, as well as external partners, funders, networks and stakeholders, to develop marketing activity, promote events and strengthen the organisation’s profile and audience reach.
The role is offered on the basis of 48 freelance days (7 hours) at £175 per day until February 2026, with potential for extension subject to future funding.
Job Requirements
– Strong understanding of artist studio organisations, artist-led practice and the contemporary visual arts sector.
– Passionate about supporting artists, creative communities and public engagement.
– Experience delivering marketing campaigns across social media, websites and email marketing.
– Skilled in arts administration, event coordination and supporting public programmes.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and editing experience.
– Experience managing websites, content management systems and Mailchimp.
– Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
– Experience creating digital content, including photography, videography and graphic design.
– Knowledge of audience development and evaluation.
– Able to work independently, use initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
– Flexible to support occasional evening and weekend events.
