Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Develops relationships with commercial stakeholder, subject matter experts, and cross-functional team members, understanding and caring about business objectives, audiences, problems-to-solve, and market landscape.
• Leading and supporting the execution of marketing initiatives.
• Helps with ongoing management of the annual marketing budget for the segment.
• Meets regularly with business stakeholders and functional partners (e.g., finance, business communications, PR) to keep all groups well-informed of marketing plan progress.
• Regularly partners with product and marketing insights team to gather and share information.
• Analyzes target audiences and helps inform positioning themes and how those should be constructed and communicated for maximum impact.
• Helps coordinate and support industry summits, proprietary events and customer forums for the business segment.
• Prepares and delivers presentations geared toward team members and stakeholder groups relative to marketing strategy, branding, events, and campaign performance updates.
• Serves as strategic collaborator for advertising, branding and other agencies and contractors involved in developing and delivering content through various communication channels.
• Tracks and measures the success of marketing efforts through quantitative or qualitative research; makes recommendations based on findings and/or best practices.
• Ensures adherence to enterprise strategy and brand, legal, and corporate compliance guidelines.
• Identifies ways to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness within all marketing and advertising channels.

Education:

• Broad training in fields such as business administration, communications, journalism, English, marketing or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience, preferably in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Demonstrated success executing marketing initiatives which may include launching new products and services, integrating brands, supporting industry events, and guiding advertising campaigns.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms with sales, customers and management.
• Demonstrated success in group speaking and presentations.
• Well organized with demonstrated success in planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships and provide customer service to internal staff
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to multi-task and integrate cross functional teams and each of their department needs.
• Ability to lead without authority.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, MS Teams, SmartSheet). Graphics knowledge helpful.

Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally 1-3 times per year
