Medical Director (Rare Disease) – IgG4-RD
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will provide leadership in the development and implementation of medical and clinical strategies. They are responsible for medical staff, ensure the quality of medical services, and represent the company in collaborating closely with external partners.
Reporting to the Sr. Medical Director, Rare Disease, the Medical Director will provide medical/scientific strategic and operational expertise into the planning and execution of the medical support activities of UPLIZNA with a focus on IgG4-RD. . This individual will be responsible for Medical Affairs go-to-market launch planning and execution. They will provide medical input into the long-term vision for the Medical Affairs area to enable health care professionals and patients to receive appropriate medical information. This role requires a high level of collaboration across Amgen and will require working closely Research and Development, Access, Commercial, Outcomes Research, and Publications. Forging a productive and compliant partnership with the Commercial organization will be essential.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of relevant experience
OR
Master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
