What You Will Do

We are seeking to recruit a full-time, practicing oncologist to provide personalized care to patients with all cancer types in both a clinic and hospital setting. In addition to full-time practice, this position will include a medical directorship with the oncology service line and act as a dyad partner with the VP of oncology. This role will help in the development and implementation of the statewide strategic plan. To start, we expect the position to be 80% clinical, 10% administrative, and 10% strategic/mission but could change as the program and staffing grows. We are looking for a high-energy, experienced candidate with a growth, strategic, program development, and patient-focused mindset. Our ideal candidate must have the time and willingness to put in non-clinical hours to network, market, and build the practice into a collaborative and cohesive group of approximately 4 medical oncologists and 3 advanced practice providers at the 86th Street ministry. Currently, three of our four Indiana ministries are staffed by AMG for medical oncology. The Medical Director would be responsible for bringing these four, current ministry physician practices together as one AMG oncology practice covering the 4 cancer centers. Growth is planned for additional sites.

Qualifications

• Physician MD/DO credential from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hem/Onc or Medical Oncology
