This position will serve both Northwest Ohio Developmental Center (NODC) located in Toledo (Lucas County) and Tiffin Developmental Center (TDC) located in Tiffin (Seneca County). Each facility is a unique residential setting – NODC is an urban campus supporting adults and TDC is a rural campus focusing on supporting youth aged 10-17 while also supporting adults. Both facilities provide short-term stabilization so our individuals can integrate into an environment that best meets their wants and needs.

The final candidate selected for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Rule 5123-2-02 “Background Investigations for Employment,” outlines disqualifying offenses that will preclude an applicant from being hired by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
Due to the unclassified status of this position, a more detailed background check is required in addition to the criminal background check.
This position requires filing a financial disclosure statement with the Ohio Ethics Commission upon hire and annually thereafter.
