Job Description:
This position oversees the Otolaryngology Service Line in the Region for Intermountain Health. It also may serve temporarily as the medical director for other regions as they are being organized. This position oversees the operational aspects of Otolaryngology providers, both medical group and affiliates, and coordinate closely with other parts of the organization, including local hospital leadership, Market leadership, Service Lines and Clinical Programs. It also works with the Otolaryngology APP leadership to help coordinate a team-based approach to care for our patients and strives to create a unified highly functional culture in Otolaryngology. This position provides regional leadership in Otolaryngology and helps develop strategic direction, oversight, operational efficacy, and a culture of high value reliable care in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery team. This position champions provider growth and development, innovation, and the delivery of high value care exceptional care across the region.
The Medical Director for Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Service Line is a Canyon Region position (although may require oversight of other regions as they are being organized) reporting directly to the Senior Medical Director (SMD) of the Surgical Specialties Digestive Health Service Line, Region (SSDH SL). This is organized under the ACMO Specialties, Canyon Region, who reports to the Chief Medical Officer, Region. While the primary responsibility is to manage, optimize, and improve the Otolaryngology Service Line, this position required close partnership with the SSDH Clinical Programs (SSDH CP), to improve clinical outcomes and the value of care delivered, as well as other Enterprise organizations to help improve the quality of care, cost, and patient experience in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$7.25 – $999.99
