Are you a seasoned microbiologist ready to take the lead in ensuring the safety and integrity of life-saving pharmaceutical products? Join Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS, where your expertise will directly support aseptic manufacturing and environmental monitoring at a cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility.

What You’ll Do

As the Microbiology Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of quality control, guiding a team and overseeing critical microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment. Your leadership will help ensure that every product meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading environmental monitoring during aseptic operations and media fills using:
  • Non-viable particle counters
  • Contact plates
  • Microbial air samplers
• Overseeing utility sampling (WFI, purified water, compressed gases) with validated methods
• Reviewing and interpreting microbial data with precision and integrity
• Ensuring accurate documentation in electronic systems
• Escalating deviations or equipment issues promptly
• Maintaining a clean, compliant, and audit-ready lab environment
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a GMP/GLP pharmaceutical setting
• Strong aseptic technique and cleanroom experience
• Proven leadership or supervisory background
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
