Motion Graphic Designer/Video Editor in Washington, District Of Columbia

We are in search of a Motion Graphic Designer/Video Editor to join our client’s team based in Washington, District of Columbia. The role focuses on creating engaging visual content for a diverse range of media platforms. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in creating animations, editing videos, and enhancing brand awareness through your creative skills.

Responsibilities:

• Create and edit motion graphics and videos for various platforms using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other relevant software.

• Collaborate with the team to produce visually compelling content for advertisements, brochures, banner ads, and trade show conference visuals.

• Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand image and guidelines.

• Work closely with different teams to understand project scope and objectives, and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Design and animate high-end motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, eLearning, websites, marketing demos, etc.).

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.

• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and processing of paperwork related to your role.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques.

• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards.

  Requirements

• Experience working with stage or stadium graphics, or potentially even TV or streaming overlays is a strong plus.

• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.

• Demonstrated ability to create engaging animations.

• Experience in designing and producing advertisements.

• Skilled in creating banner ads for digital platforms.

• Proven track record in enhancing brand awareness through effective visual content.

• Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is desirable.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.

• Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.

• Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and receive feedback.

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.

• Open to continuous learning and adapting to new techniques in motion graphics and video editing.
