HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston, NY is seeking dedicated and experienced Neonatal APPs (Advanced Practice Providers) to join our team on a per diem basis, offering on-call support for neonatal emergencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
  • Provide expert care and rapid response to neonatal emergencies in the NICU and delivery room.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and manage critically ill neonates.
  • Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and resuscitation.
  • Assess and monitor the health of neonates, making swift decisions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with families, providing compassionate support and clear explanations during critical situations.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be board certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and possess an applicable New York State license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in neonatal care or NICU.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
