Are you ready to help shape and secure the global network that keeps Lotus Bakeries connected across 4 continents? As a Network Lead, you play a key role in our international Infrastructure team. You focus on the implementation, support and optimization of our broad network and related infrastructure (servers, OT and production hardware). Our team manages over 30 locations and 1800+ users worldwide. Together, we make sure every office and production site can count on a network that is reliable, performant and secure.

Job description

  • You lead a team of two ICT Network engineers and manage our outsourcing partner for servers & WAN;
  • You take the lead in projects and execute network activities in budget, in scope and on time;
  • A few examples of these network and security-related activities and optimizations are network changes, application integrations from a connectivity perspective or VoIP changes;
  • You will co-ordinate and deliver support on the network following our SLA through monitoring and follow-up of incidents with our suppliers (WAN) or taking up and leading 2nd and 3rd level incidents related to the network, IT production hardware (RF scanners, printers, …) and business applications;
  • In this role, you also coordinate connectivity related changes and incidents with external partners related to M365, AD, Security and Certificates;
  • You facilitate meetings with the business (engineering) to understand requirements and priorities.

Profile

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics or equivalent through experience;
  • 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure in mid to large IT environments;
  • Knowledge of switching, wireless LAN, routing concepts (Cisco preferred);
  • Knowledge of firewalling and SDWAN concepts;
  • An excellent broad IT infrastructure knowledge with hands-on experience:
    • Windows 11, M365, printing, AD;
    • Servers, storage, virtualisation.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL process and being able to apply these;
  • An open interest in general infrastructure topics so that you can quickly determine the best and most future-proof solutions. Any experience in a production environment is considered a plus;
  • A flexible mindset and a natural drive for continuous improvement;
  • Strong communication skills combined with a pro-active and hands-on approach.
