Reporting to the college Executive Counsel and Labor Designee, the non-teaching adjunct will:
Maintain and update department files for the office of the Executive Counsel/Legal Labor Designee
Review and respond to records requests
Arrange meetings, including reserving meeting rooms, and confirm attendance for labor negotiations and various committees and grievance meetings
Take meeting notes and assemble all related documents for submission to the University and other regulatory agencies
Responsible for the coordination of department meetings, including the preparation of materials
Administrative duties include the preparation of letters, memos and other written communication as requested or required by the Executive Counsel/Labor Designee, as well as general office duties, including copying, scanning, faxing, filing, typing
Schedule appointments and maintain Outlook calendars and contacts
Assist with note taking and organization of grievance and disciplinary records
Responsible for all administrative duties and notifications related to COELIG filing, and maintenance of active/inactive statuses
Facilitate COELIG training in accordance with NY State requirements and send timely notifications to ensure compliance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required.
COMPENSATION
$47.42 – $59.00. per hour.
The hours are not to exceed 225 hours a semester.
