What we are looking for

NRC is looking for an Information, Counselling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Specialist to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will be responsible for the technical development of the ICLA core competency, strategic direction, and quality assurance. He/she will also be accountable for the mentoring, training, and capacity building of ICLA staff.

What you will do

• ICLA strategy, technical guidance, and macro logical framework approach developments.
• Fundraising and proposal/budget/donor report development.
• Trends, technical standards, and donor priority identification.
• Technical quality and project implementation synergies.
• Technical direction and project implementation support.
• Key learnings extraction and incorporation into development processes.
• Capacity building and training of technical staff.
• Stakeholder relations, networking, and partnership development.

What you will bring

• Legal assistance expertise experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
• Information, Counselling, and Legal Assistance proficiency.
• Market analysis, cash-based interventions, and market-based programmes expertise .
• Complex and volatile context exposure.
• English fluency, both written and verbal

What we offer

• Yangon, Myanmar duty station.
• 12-month contract duration.
• 25% travel, approximately.
