Online ESL Instructor

Our mission is to deliver high-quality education to students and professionals in Latin America and other parts of the world.

We are looking for passionate, energetic, and responsible individuals to teach ESL courses in a virtual environment.

The applicants should be comfortable, easy-going, and creative when teaching teens and adults. Although all materials will be prepared, you are allowed to deviate from them at your own discretion as long as the learning objectives are met, and the students are learning in a fun, engaging environment. Though most of our classes are for teens and adults, we are also teaching kids as young as 5 years old.

The work will be remote (you can work from anywhere in the world) but you must be a Canadian citizen or a Canadian Permanent Resident. Applicants must be available to work between 18:30-20:00 or 20:00-21:30 MDT.

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching ESL (Must have at least one of these certifications: TESOL, TESL, TEFL, TOEFL, CELTA, etc.) (required)
• Ability to work with Zoom and Moodle. Have basic computer skills (required)
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) (English / French) (English / Portugese) (preferred)

Job Description:

• Teach English at a high level of proficiency
• Assess and identify students’ individual learning needs
• Keep students engaged using a variety of teaching techniques: lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations
• Assign and mark homework
• Evaluate and review the progress of students and discuss results with them
