About the Department
The Section of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy consists of five full-time faculty with comprehensive expertise in surgical treatment of complex vascular diseases. Working with colleagues across the enterprise, our faculty has helped established several robust centers with the aim of holistically treating patients with vascular disease, including the Center for Aortic Diseases, the Center for Venous Disease, as well as the Joint Commission/American Heart Association-accredited Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center, the first of its kind in Chicago. The section is also home to one of the first accredited vascular ultrasound laboratories, which is staffed by a team of board-certified imaging technologists. The section’s research initiatives center on patient outcomes following complex vascular surgery. The section also manages a robust fellowship program aimed at educating and preparing the next generation of vascular surgeons. This ongoing work and achievement would not be possible without the cohesive effort of the faculty and staff. We are always looking for individuals who are willing to work in our dynamic and collaborative environment toward the shared goal of improving the health of patients in our community and beyond.
Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator provides professional and administrative support to clinical department management in the Section of Vascular Surgery.
