Job description
The Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at Rocky Mountain College invites applications for an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (non-tenure-eligible). The AFWC is specifically responsible for the program’s compliance with the fieldwork requirements of Standards Section C.1.0 and is assigned to the occupational therapy educational program as a full-time core faculty member as defined by ACOTE.With a practitioner-educator emphasis, position responsibilities prioritize teaching and advising students and fostering community connections. The AFWC will act as a liaison amongst the students, sites, content mentors, and occupational therapy faculty capstone mentors.Additional responsibilities include advising and mentoring students for research and doctoral capstone experience, facilitating experiential and community-based components of the OTD curriculum, and participating in program and institutional committees and other service activities that support the mission of the college. The proportions of teaching, research, and advising will be established in line with the needs of the program and the college. This position begins no later than July 1, 2025, although an earlier start date may be possible. - A doctorate in Occupational Therapy (strongly preferred, but other doctorate-level degrees may be considered);
- Licensed, or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist, in the state of Montana;
- 2 years of clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist
