General Summary

Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. The Physician performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.

Position Highlights:

  • Enjoy working with an established group that has 5 physicians and 1 CRNP committed to giving quality care to York County and surrounding areas
  • Team also includes audiology services with a team of 5 audiologist
  • Practice is a full scope ENT practice with the option to specialize in an area of interest
  • New graduates are welcome to join this established team who is willing to mentor as your start your new career as an otolaryngologist
  • Hospital coverage at York Hospital; 579- bed teaching hospital and level I trauma center
  • No facial trauma is required
  • Great referral system from family physicians and specialist throughout the WellSpan system
  • Position is designed for work life balance with flexible scheduling and reasonable call

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
