Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Pay: $65,000-85,000 Base Salary + Bonus

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Outside Sales Representative on behalf of one of our clients.

This is a Direct Hire Outside Sales Representative/ Healthcare Account Executive/ Business Development Manager/ Healthcare Marketer role focused on building relationships with nursing homes and helping families navigate Medicaid qualification for long-term care.

This outside Sales Representative position is ideal for a relationship-driven Healthcare Account Executive, Business Development Manager, Territory Sales Representative, or Healthcare Liaison who thrives in a consultative, field-base sales environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business as an Outside Sales Representative/ Healthcare Account Executive within assigned territory
  • Build relationships with nursing homes, administrators, and business office managers (BOMs)
  • Establish referral partnerships as a business development manager/territory sales representative
  • Maintain and grow relationships as a healthcare marketer/ account manager
  • Educate partners and families on Medicaid qualification and long-term care services
  • Collaborate with internal teams for scheduling and coordination
  • Manager your own territory, travel schedule, and daily activity

Required Skills:

  • Experience as an outside sales representative, healthcare account executive, or business development manager
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfortable discussing financial details, Medicaid, and long-term care planning
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a territory sales role
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Professional, business casual presentation

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in healthcare sales, medical sales, senior living or long-term care
  • Experience as a healthcare marketer, liaison, or business development representative
  • Familiarity with nursing homes, Medicaid processes, or healthcare referrals
  • Previous outside sales or territory management experience

Territory & Schedule:

  • Territory includes locations within approximately a 2-3 hour drive of the Pittsburgh area
  • Travel required: 4-5 days a week
  • Typically home nightly, with occasional overnight travel (up to 12 times per year)
  • Standard hours: 8:00-5:00pm (flexibility as needed)
  • Employees manage their own schedules

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $65,000-85,000 annually
  • Quarterly bonus potential: $10,000-20,000 annually
  • Monthly travel reimbursement: $1,000/month
  • Client engagement allowance: $500/month
  • PTO: 14 days (0-5 years), 21 days (5+ years)
  • 10 additional paid holidays
