Job Description

This Paramedic position performs duties within their scope of practice in an Emergency Room facility setting, under the direction of the on-duty provider. The Paramedic must have a current Paramedic Certification in the applicable state, with at least 1 year of Paramedic experience.

• Care for Emergency Department patients
• Performs patient care tasks under the direction of a provider
• Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures

Applicable Experience:

1 year

Advanced Cardiac Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross, Paramedic – Various, Pediatric Advanced Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross
