Job Description
The Setnor School of Music within The College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-time Instructor to teach MUE 326/626 Teaching of Brass Instruments, a one- to two-credit hour course during the Fall and Spring semesters, 2024-25.
Laboratory in brass instruments, emphasizing performance techniques, care of instruments, acoustical considerations, elementary ensemble performance, and practical demonstration of methods and materials for individual/group instruction.

QualificationsRelevant academic credentials or professional experience including:
Job Specific QualificationsThe candidate should have strong attention to detail, knowledge of course content, demonstrated professional experience and/or prior public-school teaching experience, as well as the ability to relate well in a classroom and one-on-one environment with college-level students.
Preference will be given to applicants who could potentially fulfill multiple positions within the Setnor School of Music.
