JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business is seeking to hire one teaching assistant for MKTG 301 Honors, Principles of Marketing for fall 2024. A background in marketing is essential. 

The teaching assistant must have earned an “A” or “A-” in MKTG 301, must be a junior or senior, and must have a GPA of at least 3.2. Successful candidates will be expected to hold office hours throughout the semester, grade papers and presentations, help update course materials and perform other administrative tasks related to the course. Academic integrity and the ability to maintain student confidentiality is required. In addition, candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable and organized, and have good time management skills. Fluency in English is a must. 

Must be available to attend some classes on Tuesday/Thursday 9:05-10:20 in the Business building. 

The position is for 20 hours max per week on average and is a paid position. Please include: (1) a cover letter stating why you would like to serve as an TA and any evidence of academic integrity, and (2) your most recent resume.
