Pediatric Surgeon

The Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD), located in highly desirable coastal Virginia, is seeking a pediatric surgeon to be a Trauma Program Director for a Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have trauma experience and the desire to take on the leadership role as our Trauma Director. The successful candidate will take our already accredited Level 1 trauma program to the next level. 

CHKD serves as the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the region, caring for the most severely injured patients with resources to address all aspects of accidental injury, from prevention through rehabilitation. CHKD’s surgical program is designated as a Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center, the highest level possible, by the American College of Surgeons.
