Job Description

As the People & Culture Officer, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of People & Culture at Art UK, working closely with the Head of People & Culture to keep our team running smoothly and provide an excellent employee experience. You are organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills that help you communicate clearly and build strong working relationships across the organisation.

You will take ownership of EDI data, including surveys, monitoring, and reporting, and lead the alumni network and youth panel, revitalising these initiatives and shaping their future direction. You will provide essential support for recruitment logistics and staff learning and development, and contribute creative ideas to support staff wellbeing initiatives. You are confident using HR systems (including Sage HR) and experienced in maintaining accurate, confidential employee records.

Job Requirements

Essential:
– Experience supporting HR or People & Culture functions, including recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping, and HR systems (preferably Sage HR)
– Experience managing, analysing, and reporting on EDI data
– Experience supporting and engaging early talent initiatives
– Strong organisational and administrative skills
– First-class written and spoken communication skills
– High level of attention to detail
– Excellent IT skills
– Self-motivated and reliable
– Ability to multi-task and prioritise your own workload
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:
– Experience supporting staff learning and development initiatives
– Enthusiasm for contributing ideas to staff wellbeing initiatives
– Trained Mental Health First Aider or equivalent
– Active interest in the visual arts and museums
