St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincent’s is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and is the system’s second-largest hospital.

The Pharmacy Department at St. Vincent’s Medical Center utilizes a decentralized model with pharmacists embedded on medical teams to provide advice on optimal drug therapy. We also have an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited Pharmacy Residency program, an active Oncology infusion service, and a Retail/Specialty outpatient pharmacy.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Pharm.D. or equivalent Required

Minimum Requirements

• Current CT Pharmacist license or eligible within 45 days of hire.
