Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Description

Staff pharmacist needed for fast growing mail order pharmacy in North Salt Lake! This role is similar to retail pharmacy duties in many ways – the pharmacist will be responsible for pre-check (PB1), post-check (B2), and speaking with patients and providers. The pharmacist will manage state-to-state compliance as this is a mostly closed-door mail order facility. This position differs from retail pharmacy in that you will only work one weekend a quarter, an 8-12 shift. This position is wonderful for work-life balance, offering breaks and lunches that you don’t get in retail. Licenses in other states could be a plus, especially AZ or FL.

Hard Skills

• Licensed Pharmacist in Utah

• Compounding experience ideal but not required

• Retail experience

Soft Skills

• Open to new or recent grads with consistent, demonstrated work experience

• Ability to interpret prescription orders and input into the computer system

• Advising patients and doctors about our products

• Checking compounding formulas and updating lot and expiration dates

• Performing final checks on all prescriptions

• Supervising technicians

• Performing initial interpretation of prescriptions

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Full benefits are provided and if the candidate loves working there and follows up, this role could be an option to go permanent with the company. You also do not have to go permanent if you do not want to and are just trying to build some experience within compounding.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in North Salt Lake, Utah.

Work Environment

Fast growing holistic pharmacy. M-F 9-5:30/6, one Saturday a quarter 8-12. 16 pharmacists on staff, 128 people in building. Business casual or scrubs.
