Hartford HealthCare’s Pharmacy System has grown to include 8 inpatient pharmacies, 6 cancer center infusion pharmacies, 3 retail pharmacies, and our Ambulatory Care pharmacy department supporting more than 50 medical office practices. Collaboration between our numerous pharmacy services and other members of the health care team is key to our commitment to continually improving how we provide patient care. Qualifications

In this essential role, the clinical pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital setting, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for all patients. As a key member of the healthcare team, the pharmacist is responsible for verifying medication orders, offering clinical guidance, and supporting optimal pharmacotherapy through collaboration with providers, nurses, and other care team members.

The pharmacist will provide care across a variety of clinical settings, including but not limited to critical care, emergency medicine, neonatology, and general medicine. This role also supports the daily operational activities of the pharmacy department.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Pharm.D. preferred

Minimum Requirements

• Current CT Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital or long term care experience highly preferred
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
